Things should be made to last. That goes beyond construction and includes the designs themselves. By reflecting on the past, using colors and textures from different eras, I create handmade objects with a sense of timelessness that can be used for years. In more recent years, trend cycles have been moving faster and faster. There is a need for people to slow down and figure out what their personal style is. Creating handmade goods that are easy to care for encourages people to make conscious choices and allows them to fill their home with objects that have a story.
